Bob got his first guitar at the age of seven. His older brother showed him a few chords and he never looked back.
After a few years of playing the local clubs of northern California, he was called to Nashville when Leon Russell invited him to audition. The next ten years working with Leon were instrumental in the forming of his musical sensibilities and style.
Years on the road with everyone from The Dixie Chicks to Hall of Famer John Fogerty and constant session work including Bob Dylan’s Grammy-winning “Time out of Mind” showcased his Country, Blues, Rock and R&B skills.
In 2011, Delbert McClinton enlisted Bob to play guitar in his band, which then lead to the Music Director, co-writer and co-producer gigs.
