Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Joyce is a career musician and songwriter. He’s performed and/or recorded with dozens of legendary artists, including Roy Orbison, Roger Miller, Brenda Lee, Vince Gill, Roseanne Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank Williams, Jr., John Hiatt, Tanya Tucker, Tom Kimmel, Jimmy Hall, Jo-el Sonnier, and has performed with the phenomenal Delbert McClinton for six years.

 

Michael’s musical compositions have been recorded by artists as diverse as Gail Davies, Irene Kelley, Tom Kimmel, the Kinleys, the Thompson Brothers, Bering Strait and Delbert McClinton. A Nashville resident since 1978, Michael was heavily involved in Nashville’s first-wave rock scene of the ‘80’s, serving as member or producer of numerous well-known Nashville rock projects and on the board of the original Nashville Entertainment Association. He’s a graduate of Leadership Music and served as both vice-president and president of the board of the renowned Kids on Stage Summer Academy.
