Dana Robbins has been in Nashville performing, recording, and making her own records for the past 25 years. She has been performing with Delbert McClinton for the past 8 years. She is featured on two of the new cuts on Delbert's upcoming, "Tall, Dark & Handsome" record.
She has three records of her own, "So Good," "Dana Robbins" and "11," The self-titled record, "Dana Robbins" features Delbert on two songs. The record was produced by Tom Hambridge at Nashville's Ronnie's Place in two days of recording. Hambridge chose the legendary studio that had been Roy Orbinson's home in the '70's, followed by Ronnie Milsap in the '80's, because of what he described as its "good Mojo".
Dana performed with Aretha Franklin for many years, and most recently toured with Taj Mahal and Keb'Mo's collaboration "TajMo" which toured the last 2 summers.
